Australian flag G'day Australia

Traveling Australia is a dream of many people. It was mine too and as many people, I went to see if it would meet my expectations. I was wrong! It exceeded all my expectation I possibly could have made. Was it the landscape? Was it the people? Or was it the fact I was going out and drinking all night long until the sun was rising? Maybe it was the combination of above to make it a perfect time... If you go there once, here are some tips, where to go to have a good time. For those of you who have been there already: Just see is as a "Remember the time when..."

The second section on this page is about another experience I made down under: Making good friends. Not just because they are so friendly and the best (I repeat The Best) drinking buddies, no, it was a big challenge to understand them. After some time I found out that the language they spoke was supposed to be English. And that is why I have on the second part a great dictionary for you. Now enjoy...

The Rocks The oldest part of Sydney are the Rocks. It's where everthing started and everyone, sooner or later, ends. If you looking for a great time, go to the Rocks on a Friday night, visit pubs such as The Oriental Hotel, the Observer Hotel or the Lord Nelson Brewery Hotel where you can taste homemade beer. It does not matter where you go you will have party almost everywhere. Little hint: Meet at the Oriental: It is easy to find and great to start.
Not in Sydney itself (hey, nobody said stupid suburb) but still worth the ferry trip: Manly Beach. Many pubs, great beach and if you hear to much swiss german, you are not drunk enough. No kidding, there are a lot of swiss students there but who cares about that little detail when sitting in the beer garden of The Steyne? Or getting a sunburn at Shell Beach? Or getting a nice "chocolate-donuts-and-strawberry-milkshake-special" around the corner? No matter what you do, you will enjoy it very much. Manly Beach
Australia has a lot to offer: Mystic red center with aborigines tradition and ayers rock, caribean and tropical environment around Cairns in the northeastern part and big Cities like Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. For all of you who went there and would like to live there forever, go to the link page - I have a great link for those who would like to migrate to Australia. And for all those who went there and did not like it: I do not know what you did wrong but using that little b-word was definitely not the best idea...
